How does an Administrator approve an option exercise request and select ACH as a payment method

Provided the above criteria is being met:

Log In and Navigate to the Exercise & Releases Page

  • Go to the Exercise & Releases page and select the Options tab.

Locate the Pending Exercise Request

  • Find the exercise request you wish to approve.

  • Use filters or sorting to help locate pending requests.

Open the Request Details

  • Click the kebab menu (three dots) next to the exercise request.

  • Select “View details” to review the request

Review All Request Information

  • Confirm the stakeholders details, grant information, exercise quantity, FMV, calculated costs, and tax withholding.

  • Provided you have an active Stripe account linked, the default payment type will be ACH

Check Stripe Account Status

  • If the company’s Stripe account is fully linked and ACH is enabled, the platform will display a banner confirming ACH payment is active.

  • If there is an issue with Stripe, you must resolve it or select manual payment instead.

Approve the Request

  • Click “Approve”.

  • A side drawer or approval page will open, showing all editable and calculated fields.

  • Add any necessary notes in the “Exercise notes” field.

Submit Approval

  • Click “Submit” to approve the exercise request.

  • The participant will receive an email notification and a payment task in their portal.

  • The exercise record’s payment status will update to “Payment Due”.

Next Steps

  • The participant must log in and use the “Send payment” button to pay via Stripe.

  • Once payment is sent and confirmed by Stripe, the platform will automatically update the payment status and allocate shares.
