Growth Shares
Growth Shares can now be easily issued and tracked on the Global Shares platform.
Growth Shares are typically issued by unlisted U.K. companies as a way to attract and retain workforce talent, by allowing participants to benefit in the future growth in value of a company.
This provides an opportunity for a business and its growth share participants to align their interests by sharing company ownership, helping to drive the future growth of the company. A growth share scheme delivers value to its participants when the overall value of the company increases above a set 'hurdle price', which is specified on issuance.
Growth Shares are a special class of shares, often issued from share classes that do not carry any voting rights. They are usually more tax efficient in comparison to other share schemes and allow a participant immediate share ownership of the company.

This release also includes 'Grant' screen UI improvements to the Administrator portal and Participant Portal, where each grant type now has its own dedicated tab.
This helps Administrators to quickly navigate and find specific grants that need to be actioned, especially when managing a large number of grants and grant types.
