Grant editability

Whats new?

The primary fields on the grant record can now be edited even after the point of creation. If the grant has any associated child transactions, like an exercise, only certain fields can be edited to maintain data integrity.  

How does it work?

On the Awards screen, navigate to the ‘View Details’ page of a grant by clicking on the grant ID or selecting ‘View Details’ from the kebab menu.
Click ‘
Edit’ on the top right hand corner of the ‘View Details’ page.
The grant fields that can be edited will be underlined. The grant fields that cannot be edited will be muted. For grants where the primary fields cannot be edited, a blue banner will be displayed at the top of the page explaining why that grant cannot be edited which is typically due to the grant having a child transaction, like an exercise. When finished making changes, click ‘
Save changes’.

Why is it important and how am I affected?

Prior to this change, the only way to fix incorrect grant data was to delete the grant record and re-input it. Now, company administrators can just edit the grant and update the relevant fields to ensure their participants and investors have access to the correct information.
