This card provides a breakdown on the quantities of equity and the estimated monetary value of that equity if the company's share price visibility is enabled.

When share price visibility is on, this card will display the estimated monetary value of the participants equity based on the share price.
The share price will be displayed on the top right hand corner of the card with the date that was input on the valuation record
When share price visibility is off, this card will display quantities instead of values
Any scenario’s, like a sharp fall in a company's valuation, that result in negative values for the participants equity are displayed as zero because the participants equity would be considered worthless
Participants can hover over each data point to see a breakdown of the equity type, quantities and values making up that overall figure (if share price visibility is on)

Share price visibility is switched on

Total value - The combined value of the equity that you own today and the potential value of the equity that you could own in the future, based on the current share price of the company.

Total value = Owned value + In progress + Potential value
Owned value - The sum value of the equity that you own in the company.

Owned value = Total qty of outstanding shares * share price
In progress - The sum value of any pending equity transactions, like option exercise requests, that are in progress of being converted into shares. This includes the purchase cost that you may need to pay your company for this equity.

In progress = (Total qty of pending equity * share price) - (Total qty of pending equity * grant price)
Potential value - The sum of the additional potential value of equity that you could own in the future based on the current share price. This includes the purchase cost that you may need to pay your company for this equity. It excludes the owned value of equity that you already own

Potential value = (Total qty of outstanding equity grants * share price) - (Total qty of outstanding equity grants * grant price)
